1964 Fender Duosonic

A 1964 Fender Duosonic that I've purchased in the Fall of 2002 from a fellow in New Orleans. He had some delay in shipping it out as two hurricanes blew thru down in rapid succession right at the time that we made the deal. I believe that the red laquer finish is original. Nice chunky neck with no skunk stripe. This guitar is heavily modified with pickups and bridge parts probably from a 1960s Gibson or Epiphone. It's like a Telecaster and a SG got married and this was their first born son.

I haven't messed with the guitar, it came to me with the number plate upside down. Also, you can see that the neck is shimmed in order to raise it high enough for the strings to clear the humbuckers.
